Day 136: Walking Back in Time

This blog is a continuation to:
Day 130: Holding Myself Back
Day 131: Timidity
Day 132: How we Bring Personality Traits into Being
Day 133: Managing vs. Correcting My Inner Reality
Day 134: Living by the Rule of Fear
Day 135: Stopping the Pattern

When and as I see myself access the belief that energy is ‘more than’ and ‘bigger than’ me when faced with energy within myself and another as myself – where I believe that I cannot handle/stand in the face of energy – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that I have accepted and allowed myself to separate myself from energy, where I/we are in fact the creators and generators of the very energy we submit to and so I commit myself to take self-responsibility within the realization that this energy as for instance fear and anxiety is me and direct the energy as myself and ground myself within and as my human physical body

When and as I see myself access the belief that I do not have the power to direct a ‘force’ such as energy and that my only two options are to either submit within going with it or manage my movement in a way to ‘avoid’ it – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that I am reacting to energy through memory within not having had the proper tools and understanding regarding how energy works – and that I now do I have the tools and understanding and thus have no reason not to direct myself as the energy within and as me or direct myself effectively when facing another possessed by energy and so I commit myself to stop, breathe – let go of the automated pattern, ground myself within and as my human physical body and assess the information not through interpretation/reaction but common sense evaluation

When and as I see myself access the belief that I am ‘less than’ and ‘smaller than’ energy within myself and others – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that energy existent within me can only be here when I am here, and thus energy is an extension/creation/generation of myself – where I can only be ‘less than’ if I deny self-responsibility within being the creator of the energy/friction as a statement of separation and so I commit myself to embrace self-responsibility within the realisation that this energy is in fact me through my acceptance, allowance and participation within it and disband my participation within energy within myself through Breathing here

When and as I see myself access the belief that I am ‘less than’ and ‘smaller than’ energy within myself and others – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that I can only be less than if I do not accept and allow myself to stand equal and one to the energy as myself and the energy within others as myself as they are all the same in nature and so I commit myself to investigate how I have come to separate myself from my own energy experiences and those within others as a form of self-education to gain greater insight into myself and how I create experiences for myself so that I can reverse the extent of separation within specificity

When and as I see myself react to friction/conflict or the possibility to friction/conflict within generating fear and anxiety and wanting to avoid the situation at all cost – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that I am playing out a programmed response pattern based on the past as memories where I scripted this pattern as a coping mechanism to “deal” with conflict/friction within my reality within not effectively understanding the nature of reality and who we have accepted and allowed ourselves to exist as, as energy – where even though I know have understanding of how energy / human behaviour operates – I still fall back on my base programming as ‘react within fear and anxiety – avoid situation at all cost’ as this is the pattern I have accepted and allowed myself to live for the majority of my life and has been vastly ingrained within and as myself through accumulation within continuous participation and repetition – and so I see and realise that I have spent a lot of time and energy integrating this pattern within myself to the extent that the experience/reaction manifests in less than a split of a second and totally becomes me – where the domino-reaction is taking place so fast that the moment I start perceiving conflict/friction I am already at the end of the domino-line where my entire physique has already integrated fear and anxiety and where I am ready to ‘go’ and avoid and so I see and realise that it will take equal time and effort to disintegrate this automated pattern within and as me and so I commit myself to grant myself the patience to relieve myself of this pattern of limitation within walking through the reaction pattern over and over and correction myself over and over until it is done – as well as committing myself to slow down and stick to breath to effectively catch the pattern in all its various stages and each time ‘catch it’ earlier and earlier so that I do not have to correct myself by the time the pattern has already manifested within and as me, but that I can stop/correct myself within the very moment of receiving the input/trigger and to simply ‘not go there’ and remain here within as my human physical body, within and as Breath

Day 116: Is Brainwashing Possible?

If you are not yet convinced that brainwashing is possible, walk with me through ‘Brainwashed’, an episode from the Curiosity show.

In the episode, a bunch of researchers want to test whether it is possible to program someone to kill a total stranger. Some think it may be possible, others doubt it strongly.

They show starts of with quite a few people, and start doing some basic little hypnosis tests to see how susceptible they are. The hypnotist will for instance say that he will by counting upwards, and that with each count the person is going to become angrier and angrier, and if you watch the episode, you will see: they get angry. Or for instance he got them to forget their name, so that after scripting the program he would wake them up, shake their hand, introduce himself and ask for their name --- and they’d just not know their name.

They then downsized the group to only a few people who seemed to respond very well to the hypnosis. Next they programmed the group to when they would go into a fancy restaurant, experience the seat of the chair to be so hot, that they’d undress themselves to their undies and fall asleep after completion. Sure enough, all except for one go to the restaurant and stripped to their undies while other people were present in the restaurant. This was a test to see if they could get people to override their ‘moral code’ so to speak, in that most people will not undress themselves to their undies in a fancy restaurant if you ask them to.

After reviewing the footage of the restaurant, they weren’t sure if maybe some of the participants were faking it or not.

They then proceeded to the next test, which was where the remaining participants would one by one go into a bath of ice cold water, the temperature being just over freezing point. They’d then get programmed to believe that they are in a hot Jacuzzi and cannot feel the cold.

A test such as this had not yet been done before, and the hypnotherapist himself doubted that it would work, since such cold water could be such a shock to the body that it might ‘snap’ people out of their hypnotic state. Nonetheless, the test continued – and the first few people couldn’t stay in the bath, they started shivering and showing other sorts of signs that would indicate them being in icy cold water. It wasn’t clear though whether the test didn’t work because of them faking or whether the hypnosis hadn’t been effective. With the last guy, he went into the bath and actually had a smile on his face. His body showed none of the signs of being in the icy cold water, and sat there for 2 minutes (this was the maximum lengths the medics in the team would allow them to stay because of health reasons). This guy was then the candidate to test whether you could get someone to kill a total stranger.

After the test just described, they told the guy that he was no longer going to be participating in the program and that he was not going to be hypnotised anymore -- he should just come back tomorrow for a final interview on his experience with the show. This is to remove any expectations he may have had.

When he is busy doing the interview with the producer the next day, she excuses herself for a moment and then the hypnotist comes in and pretends to come and say his goodbyes, when he then all of a sudden commands the guy to sleep, where the guy immediately drops down in the couch so that he is laying down, and then the hypnotist starts scripting the assassination, saying that someone will greet him down the stairs and shake his hand (and then does the shake, saying “like this”) and will tell him “you did a spectacular job”, upon which he will go to a motorcycle by the street on which there’s a red backpack with a gun, and he will take the gun and wait for ‘the bad guy’ and shoot him BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG, you’re then going to forget all about it. The guy then wakes him up and says, okay so goodbye then, and the participant says bye, not having a clue of what just happened.

The producer then comes back in an concludes the interview. The participant then leaves, goes down the stairs, get the handshake and “You did a spectacular job” trigger, upon which he walks to the motorcycle , retrieves the bag, takes out the gun and waits by the entrance of the building for target. The guy comes out and sure enough, he takes out the gun and goes BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG. The guy drops dead with blood all over him (fake blood). And then they people come in and remove him from the scene and take him out of the hypnosis.

They then explain to the guy what he just did, and the guys is obviously shocked, I mean he thinks he’s a good guy and he just killed a random stranger and can’t remember any of it!

The hypnotists asks him if he’d like to get his memory back, maybe that would help and the guys says yes, he does the little hypno tricks and there is memory is back. Now they guy is just more confused. The researchers never expected the experiment to actually work, and never considered how this would affect the person they would test it on. I mean, this guy now thinks he’s a killer and asks whether this whole thing is going to affect him or get triggered again later in life. The people try to assure him but you can see they can’t really tell 100% lol. He then asks if he can see the guy he shot and is very relieved to see that he is okay.

This episode very clearly shows that brainwashing is possible, and with getting people in the right state of mind and the right scripting and repetition – you can literally get them to do anything.

Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

Day 104: Identity Crisis: Am I Real or Am I the Product of Behavioural Conditioning?

Today as I was walking outside I was looking at the point of 'who I am' as 'who I believe myself to be' as my 'identity' or 'personality' if you like.

I looked at how I would define myself in terms of my self-identity as all the things that I like and dislike, and the things I am good and not good at (where I was specifically looking at it from the perspective of who I was a few years ago, as it was then more prominent/clear).

So, I would for instance note that, I like music, I like watching movies, I like going out to concerts, I like reading, I like wearing particular style of clothing, I was into art/graphics, ...

Then I looked at, okay -- where do these points come from? And I saw that they mostly originated from either my family surrounding and/or friends/school surrounding.

Reading was encouraged at home, my brother and sister listened to the music I liked, my clothing I copied from my school/friends...

If I had been born in a a different family, a different environment -- would I still have been the same person? Would I still like the same things? Would I still be good and interested in the same things?

So then, looking at the points that we usually look at when we look at 'who we are' and 'what defines us' -- these points become pretty irrelevant, because they are purely coincidental.

If I had been a feral child, growing up with wolves -- would I like the same music if I heard it? No -- because it wasn't part of my upbringing, it wasn't part of my environment. So, when I say "I like this and that music" -- what does this really mean, because I've just established that this 'like' is purely coincidental, in terms of being related to where I was brought up ( which is coincidental, you don't know where you're going to end up being born). I can't really say that "I" like this music, as it being an inherent part of 'who I am', because it could have easily been otherwise - so it's not valid. So is it then of any value, is it of any relevance? Yet, I will judge people and form opinions about them based on what music they like, what clothes they wear, etc. -- which isn't really fair, considering that 'who they are' as a personality and their personal identity is also just the product of their environment.

So who am I? What makes me, me? What's the purpose of Life if not following my personality which I've built up / accumulated throughout my life?

Day 101: Is my TV a Secret Mind Control Device?

The other day we were discussing the effect movies have on our daily lives and how images would pop up in heads of movies/series we had seen and how they affect us.

I found a nice example of this, where we in the morning and afternoon take the horses a bit further up to one of our neighbour’s field to go and graze, while we let our fields rest.

To go there, we put on the horses’ halters and have to go out of the farm and walk on to the road to the neighbour’s farm/field.

We would usually never take the horses out of the farm and they’d generally just move from field to field on the farm as they graze the fields short. If something happens with one of the horses on the farm, we know that not much can happen (except for the chickens/ducks/geese having to dodge running horses) as the whole farm is fenced off – and the horse has got no-where to go other than the fields of which they gates may be open.

So, as we were walking downhill from the neighbour’s farm, you get to a T-section where cars and trucks sometimes come down to get to our or one of the neighbouring farms – though generally, there’s very little activity on the road and all is quiet.

The weather was a bit crazy, the horses were a bit frantic due to the new spring grass that had come up (which mostly consists out of sugar), and the neighbour’s dog had been jumping and barking at the horses through the fence – so the walk was a bit tense.

As we get to the T-section, I look at the road and suddenly I experience fear and an image flashes in my mind of horse getting loose and getting hit by a truck. So I was like, “Hmm, ok – this is pretty random” – but brushed it off as one of the fears I’ll have to work through. Then the day after or so it happened again, and when I had a closer look at the image that flashed, I could actually recognise – I had seen it before! It was part of a scene in the Horse Whisperer, where in the beginning the girl’s horse gets hit by a truck and gets hurt pretty badly.

So then I went “Aha, so that’s where it comes from!” and it’s quite interesting to see how you maybe watched a movie a few months or years ago, and you thought you were just relaxing, entertaining yourself – and then one day BAM the images start popping up in your head with just the right trigger.

This is quite worrisome, because this is just one event, one image of one movie – and had I not specifically played attention to it, I would not have realised where it came from – so this begs the question: how much of what goes on inside us is real – and how much is merely copied and transferred information from movies, tv, series? And this is just a ‘media’ dimension – if this is the effect movies has on one’s mind – what about parents? School? Friends? Society as a whole?

This proves we are a product of our environment, producing outputs according to our inputs.

Day 55: Sounds as Reference

This blog is a continuation to:

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have used sound as ‘cues’ – where I relied on sound to tell me ‘what to do’ , ‘how to behave’ and ‘what to feel’

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to abdicate my self-responsibility within letting sounds ‘guide me’ and my participation in reality – where I will move myself according to the sounds I hear and the various meanings I have attached to the sounds

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have linked my inner-experience to sound – where I will follow the sounds around me closely and modify/adapt my inner-experience as the sounds change in my environment

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have used /relied on sound in terms of ‘what to do’ and ‘how to feel’ – where I believed that if I rely on sound as cues in my reality that I will be better prepared / have an advantage when shit hits the fan

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see / realise / understand that shit will either hit the fan – or it won’t and so it does not matter how ‘well’ I can read the sounds in the house and within that evaluate the situation – since within that I am just sitting there doing nothing really, and so whether I tie my experience to these sounds or not does in no way whatsoever alter or change what is going to happen and within that I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that I am at an advantage when I am aware of the sounds in the house and link my experience to them – instead of seeing and realising that within tying my experience to the sounds in the house I am only creating more stress for myself within myself within anticipating ‘something bad to happen’

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that within ‘anticipating something “bad” to happen’ – I am already placing myself ‘there’ as if it’s already happening, where I am already in fear and anxiety – and thus if I do not like what is about to happen / might happen – yet place myself in the position of ‘already being there’ and having the experience that goes with it – I am in fact sabotaging myself as I am doing unto myself what I fear happening – lol – since I do not fear the actual event which is about to take place, but my experience within it as fear, anxiety and petrification, yet I am already creating and generating this fear, anxiety and petrification – it’s so irrational

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to have found myself so ‘clever’ within assessing situations based on sound – where I thought it was so cool that I can assess what’s going to happen just by listening to the sounds in the house – without ever stopping for a moment and seeing/realising how I am in fact trapping myself within this point of sound where for hours on end my experience inside myself would be defined and determined by the sounds in the house where I would be on edge at all times which was NOT a cool experience – yet in some twisted way believed that it was helping me

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that I was assisting myself within the relationship I had created with the sounds in the house – where I believed that within linking my inner experience to the sounds in the house that I was gaining some sense of ‘control’ since I was getting “immediate feedback” within myself based on the sounds and within that I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see and realise that my inner experience as anticipation as fear and anxiety was in fact the very statement of powerlessness as lack of control´-- yet believed that within ‘being able to tell what’s going to happen based on sound’ convinced myself that I was somehow in control of myself and my environment

I forgive myself that I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to see / realise / understand that I was actually not able to ‘tell what was going to happen’ – since I could only tell what was happening at the moment of hearing the actual sounds – but I could not tell whether or not shit was going to hit the fan until it was hitting it

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that if I have a relationship towards something in my reality, such as a relationship to sound where specific emotions/thoughts/feelings get triggered/activated to particular sounds – that this means that ‘I have control’ within believing that I can place/define the situation for myself from a Mind perspective -- without seeing and realising that even though I give something a label and categorise is in a particular place inside myself -- this does not somehow provide me with control over the situation that will assist me in coping in anyway whatsoever, at best I am constricting/limiting myself to always experience/act based on the compartmentalisation of information which I receive through my senses – in this case: sound

When and as I see myself relying on sounds as ‘cues’ to tell me what to do and how to behave – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that I am abdicating self-responsibility within allowing sounds to dictate/determine how I feel and behave and so I commit myself to when such moments arrive, to breathe, be here as my human physical body and disengage myself from participating in energetic responses to sounds

When and as I see myself looking for sounds to guide me how to feel/act – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that I have accepted and allowed myself to make something ‘more’ out of sounds – where I’ve placed personal meaning unto the sounds which then dictate how I feel/experience myself and so I commit myself to breathe, be here as my human physical body and to for myself identify the meaning I have given to the sound by which I am accepting and allowing myself to be directed by – and realise myself from this relationship within Self Forgiveness and Self Corrective Statements/Application

When and as I see my inner experience of myself shift according to the sounds in my environment – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that I am participating in a programmed response pattern based on memories featuring similar sound aspects – and so I commit myself to breathe, be here and investigate the nature of my reactions and memories from which they emerged within Self-Reflective Writing

When and as I see myself ‘tuning in’ to the sounds in my environment from a starting point of ‘analysing the situation’ within anticipation and wanting to be ‘prepared’/’ready’ – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that I am tricking and manipulating myself into a sense of ‘control’ whilst all the while only feeding self-doubt and self-distrust within closely monitoring my environment for ‘cues’ on what might possibly happen next – because I haven’t accepted and allowed myself to trust myself totally and completely to stand and be here within any given situation – and where I thus will reach for ‘anticipation’ as a form of ‘preparedness’ without seeing and realising that all I am doing is placing myself in a position of fear and ensuring that if something happens that I will act within and as the starting point of fear and within that miss the opportunity to be self-directive.
And so I commit myself to snap myself out of my ‘anticipation mode’ and allow myself to unconditionally be here within as breath as my human physical body and take things one thing at a time without creating an idea/belief about it beforehand

When and as I see myself accessing the belief that I can influence the outcome of an event by obsessively focussing on the sounds in my environment – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that this is just another form of ‘Positive Thinking’ where I delude myself that I am apparently making a change through being completely possessed/occupied with interpreting sounds without making any difference to the situation/outcome in anyway whatsoever – and so I commit myself to stop, breathe, be here and let go of my obsessive behaviour as I see/realise/understand that I cannot do anything about the situation but can only trust myself to direct myself appropriately when and if the situation arises

When and as I see myself going into fear and anxiety at the prospect of something – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that my behaviour is completely irrational within creating an unpleasant experience for myself before anything has even happened – and within that I commit myself to breathe, be here and ground the energy through my feet out of my body and unconditionally walk without allowing myself to be pre-occupied about what might and might not happen in the course of time

When and as I see myself accessing the belief that I gain control within tying my inner experience to the sounds in my environment – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that this is how I delude/brainwash myself into believing that I am ‘in control’ simply because I have an experience towards something and can relate this experience to memories of the past where I had the same experience linked to the same/similar sound – and that because my memory and current moment share alike features – physical and mental -- that this means that I can predict the future LOLOLOL – which is like, absolute bullshit -- and so I commit myself to stop bullshitting myself and have a good laugh at my own stupidity, Earth myself here and walk moment by moment unconditionally

When and as I see myself accessing the belief that I can “predict the future” within being overly aware of the sounds in my environment – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that the only thing which is predictable is myself as a Robot as I’ve programmed myself to execute certain actions such as generating emotions/feeling/thoughts when presented with certain input such as sound – and so within that I can perfectly predict how I will experience myself since I just have to look at my programming but within that however, I am not able to predict the future of the physical reality – and so any predicting taking place is always only taking place in my mind about my mind. I commit myself to stop participating in fake sense of psychic powers as I’ve seen/realised that they are completely non-existent and ground myself here within and as Breath as my human physical body and participate with what is here as this physical reality

When and as I see myself gaining a sense of ‘control’ within tying my experience to sound and experiencing an energetic movement within myself when hearing a sound – I stop and I breathe – I see and realise that I am in fact placing myself in a ‘controlled condition’ within securing myself within and as memory – where I can be certain that I will only ever experience what I have already experienced in the past as stored experiences linked to memories – and within that limiting/confining myself and my movement as I am not allowing myself to be here and see/assess the situation for what it is but immediately presume that it will be the same as in the past and so re-create the past / impose it unto the present – within that I commit myself to prove to myself that I can live without having an energetic reaction or belief/opinion about things in my world and that I do not need these energetic reactions in order to live my life

Day 42: Why?

I've been looking at how I created a relationship of victimization within and towards my human physical body, where whenever something 'bad' would happen like a cut, a scrape, a fall, a bruise, an injury, disease, pain etc - I would be overwhelmed with a sense of powerlessness and helplessness and asking myself 'Why? Why is this happening to me?'. I'd instantaneously become very emotional and cry (although as I got older I'd start to suppress the crying more and more because I didn't want to be seen as 'weak'). Now it doesn't come up as prominent anymore until someone will for instance ask me 'Are you alright?' and then this whole wave of emotions would 'wash over me' and with it the tears would start welling up in my eyes and I go 'WTF, What is this experience? Why is this here?'. The experience is hard to describe because I never really looked at it before, as I just saw it as one of my weird annoying 'quirks' which would pop up from time to time but I never bothered to question it because I thought it was simply a 'part of who I am'. The experience is something like a lostness, confusing like just not knowing why all these bad things happen to me and my body and why these experience exist (pain, discomfort). Then later, when I looked at it again a memory popped up from when I was in my first year of 'kindergarten' (where I went to school you had three years of kindergarten, starting from 2-3 years old until you're 6 or something and then you start your first year in primary school) and both kindergarten and the primary school grades were situated in the same school. So on the playground you had kids from ages 2 to 12 roaming around. I was one of the youngest.

One day I was walking around on my own just exploring, not really 'doing' anything or having any 'game' or 'purpose' that I was walking around with, and then at some point I stood still and looked at one of the concrete tiles (the playground consisted mostly of a concrete tiled flat space (and the tiles were like very rough, grainy) with a small part with sand and some trees and jungle gyms), and then out of nowhere I saw this boy from the 6th grade (so one of the eldest) stand behind me and he was looking somewhere very focussed into the distance, and it looked like he wanted to get wherever it was where he was looking and I saw his body moving into action to 'get there' but then he noticed from the corner of his eye that this little toddler - me - was in the way of his body already moving into the opposite direction of the playground and then he quickly shoved me out of the way and sprinted to wherever he was going. When I look at it now it's clear that he was obviously playing a game with his friends that he got really involved in that when he saw I was in the way he just wanted to get this 'obstruction' out of the way so he can keep in the loop of the game with his friends.

For me in that moment I had NO idea what was going on and I was just completely in shock. As I write it out, it all sounds like it was moving quite slow but me seeing him to the point where I hit the ground all happened in less than a second. I landed on the concrete tiles with my knees (I mean, what a stupid idea to have a playground made out of concrete tiles? Kids fall on it all the time) and this intense pain shocked through my body. I moved myself over a bit, still on the ground and saw that my pants had a dark red stain by my one knee and it felt wet. I cried and I cried. The teacher who takes care of us 'little ones' found me and took me inside. I was in pain, crying, confused and I was looking for some answers. Why did this happen? Why did the boy push me? Why am I in this pain? Why is my leg bleeding so bad? Why would someone want to inflict this on me? I don't understand!! As the teacher was walking me while holding my hand I was full of anticipation to get those questions answered. I was very small though and had little vocabulary so I didn't really say anything while walking/crying as I assumed the teacher would talk to me soon enough. When we got to our 'classroom' (can't really call it a classroom, it's a room full of toys and drawing/crafting stuff lol) we rolled up my pants to see what 'the damage' was and my whole knee was open, my leg covered in blood from knee to ankle. She then just pointed at the little toilet room, told me to take off my pants, showed I should sit down and gave me some toilet paper telling me to 'clean myself up'. She then left.
And so I sat there on the toilet in the little toilet room all alone, in my undies, in pain, bleeding with all the questions and no-one was telling me what was going on. As I started cleaning up the blood from my leg I experienced a sense of aloness, weakness, powerlessness, helplessness -- a victim-like state. As I dabbed the toilet paper on my bloody leg I started to 'toughen up' inside as I thought there was nothing I could do and there was no-one here to help me, I wasn't getting any wiser so what's the point? After a bit the teacher came back, and put some red stuff on my wound that was prickly, she gave me a different set of pants. She put my bloody pants in a plastic bag and told me I should take it home with me after school. We then walked back to the playground where she gave me a little push of 'off you go' and there I was, back on the playground like nothing ever happened. I walked back to the spot where I fell and there were blood stains on it. I remember them being there for quite a few days after the incident.

I wasn't told why the boy pushed me and the boy was never approached about it -- so I assumed that he hadn't done anything 'unacceptable' and that it was implied that it was my own fault that I ended up the way I did, that there was nothing wrong with the boy pusing me and my body getting hurt, but that it was 'me' that was wrong in general.

So now whenever I experience pain, a cut, a fall, whatever -- this whole experience gets uploaded into every cell of my body. Depending on the severity/intensity/element of surprise of the incident -- the experience will be more or less intense but it'll always be there. And although my whole tick bite fever incident was quite different from what played out in the memory, the pain and discomfor triggered the same experience.

Self Forgiveness and Self Corrective Statements to follow

Minority Report – Once you’ve seen the Future, you can change it

I recently watched the movie ‘Minority Report’ with Tom Cruise.

The movie is about a ‘Pre-crime’ unit in the near future (2054), who rely on three “psychics” who are able to see a (murder) crime before it had been committed. The visions they get are placed on high tech screen panels where the detectives of the pre-crime unit try to find clues as to where this crime is going to take place. Once they know where it is they pack themselves with their futuristic gadgets, search robots – get out there and arrest the criminal just before he/she commits the crime.

One of the Detectives (Tom Cruise) then finds out that one of the precogs (= one of the psychics) had a vision of him killing someone that he doesn’t even know. He is now obviously wants to prevent this murder from happening. While he runs from the authorities he tries to uncover why he would want to kill this person. He is also faced with a dilemma. The whole Pre-Crime unit is based on the starting point of pre-determination (= pre-programming). If he is able to prevent the murder then he can clear is name, but then at the same time it would demonstrate that people have “choice”, and thus that ‘Pre-Crime’ is not absolute.

In the end he is just, just able to prevent the murder from happening. As he is standing ready to shoot the guy and all the points are coming together for this single event to happen – one of the precogs he took with on his search, Agatha, tells him “You don’t have to do this, once you’ve your future you can change it”. And then he ends up not killing the guy.

But now in the end of the movie they used this whole point of “choice” as an excuse to shut down the whole pre-crime unit. But the only person who ever had a ‘choice’ from all those who had been spotted as future criminals was Tom Cruise, because he was the only one of them who had seen their own future. All of the other ones, would have still committed the crime because “they didn’t know better”. So now in a way what the movie is implying is that everyone can change their future, but like they demonstrated earlier this is not true. Only those who have seen their future – who in essence have seen their programming – can change their future. So you really only have choice within that one single moment, where you see how you operate and how you are programmed to behave – and then you either decide to follow your pre-programmed path – or you choose to step of it. But unless that point is not present, the point of seeing your future/programming – you do not have a choice and you are simply a slave to your ‘destiny’.

And this is exactly what one of Desteni’s objectives is – to show and teach people how to see their own programming, to see how and what they’re going to do before they’ve even done it – and give them the practical tools to change their fate. Because – what is implied in the statement “Once you’ve seen your future you can change it”? It implies you do not only know your future, but you also know your past. And it is by knowing your past, by knowing the exact factors, events, people, reactions that played a role in moulding and shaping who you are today– that you hold the key to see the future, you hold the key to change your future.
